Who do you think the Broncos will target in the draft and FA?

I agree with freak and wolfman,I think RG3 can run this Offense at a cheaper price,that would leave us enough to sign Trevathan?
Really don't wanna see M.Jackson leave.

I also wouldn't mind taking a run at Fitzpatrick for a couple of years?

I think Siemien will be able to take over this team in a year or 2,jmho!

I can see us keeping Clady after a significant paycut at LT,Paradis staying at Center,and moving Sambriallo to RT.That leaves the Guards,I think Garcis is a starting G,and Vasquez being cut,as far as Mathis goes,I don't know,he played good at times last year,but it wouldn't surprise me to see JE take an OL in round 1.

Troy Renck of the Denver Post wrote last night that Oz's contract offer was 3 years 39 million.
I wished these guys would get their damn facts straight!

I also heard on ESPN that Houston may offer Oz 16-18 million.C'mon guys I want to see the guy be our QB,but he isn't worth that kinda money.

Sam Bradford just signed a 2 year extention for 2 years 38 million,that's 19 mil per year,and he's not that good.WTF is up with these ludicris contracts for mediocre QBs?

I hope we keep Malik and Trev and either draft or sign a FA QB!

ESPN reports that JE and Kubes don't see Oz as a top tier QB,and that's why they are willing to let him walk.
They wanna sign him to a 3 year deal,and then if he turns into a top QB people think he is,then they will give him an extention/more money.I think thats a smart move on the Broncos part,jmho.

BFE, I heard, that it's not because he isn't a top tier QB but for his experience, they don't want to pay top tier QB money for someone that hasn't earned that money. JE and Kubes have both mentioned that they want Os back with the team. They are not going to gamble on someone with seven games of experience and pay them big contract money. Yes, that is a smart move..unless, Os proves to be another PFM, Elway or Favre type QB, and only time will tell for that.
I have stated on this blog that i wouldn't sign Os to more than a 1-2 year contract for 12 million a year. Broncos have exceeded that so i believe thats a fair offer. I thought he would stay because he wouldn't leave the Broncos. I might be wrong

hp1...I agree 100% with what you are saying bro!
I think Houston and maybe a couple more teams might push Oz's contract up more than he is worth.Not saying he won't be worth it,just is that nobody knows,and JE is not gonna risk it,jmho.

I've heard anywhere from 3 years 39 mil to 3 years 45 mil,and that sounds very generous to me for an unproven QB.

If you remember we went 2 or 3 games with Oz at QB and didn't even score in the 2nd half,just saying.

Daniels was to earn 3 mil this season,He played a big part in us winning the AFC Championship with his 2 TD catches!

I'd hate to be JE having to make these tough decisions.
Somebody has to crunch the numbers!

Malik is gone and maybe Os goes also. I think Malik likes the money but we'll see how well he likes being on another team.Remember Dumerville left and He hasn't set the world on fire. Os doesn't show me much as an offensive weapon and if we can retain the nucleus of this defense then I think Seimein can carry on. Os is not worth 15 mil and if someone wants to give him that, well, bye,bye.

Malik will be hard to replace,his push up the middle helped free up Miller and Ware.
Wolfe gets a lot of push up the middle too,but it just got cut in half.
Hope we resign Trevathan,but I doubt we do,too many teams wanting him.

If we lose Osweiler it has to be Paxton Lynch QB with our 1st round pick. Wenz and Goff are off the board already.

You know I haven't really thought about who we'll draft yet,or even who I want us to draft.I'll have to look at some mocks sometime between now and draft day.

I think we will go DL in the 1st round since we lost Malik.

But we all know JE,and he will take the BPA!

Hell we might have to go QB,LOL.

I freaked out when I seen where the Broncos put a 2nd round tender on BM,and a low round tender on CJ.Anderson.Anybody know what round tender is on him,I'm sure another team will take him for a low round draft pick?

We will know hopefully by tomorrow about Oz.

I do think Bruton,Caldwell,Hillman,Bolden,V.Davis,Mathis,and R.Harris could all be gone.

I'd hate to lose Bruton or Bolden,but Bruton wants to start and wants like 5 mil per season,and I don't see us giving a backup S/ST player that much money.

I hope we can keep R.Harris as a swing T.
