Manning surpassed every expectation as a Bronco and retired one at that! 
Since he retired a Bronco (not a Colt) I will never retire my Manning jersey (like I did my Cutler jersey. The dog gets to wear it on special occasions). It hangs next to my Elway (and yes, Tebow) jersey(s) in my closet and I will wear them both.

There's a lot of people out there that don't understand some Bronco fans rub on BO.

#1. Brock was NEVER going to be a second round pick in the 2012 draft. He was ranked 6-7th best QB that year and would have been drafted by any other team in the fourth round where Kirk Cousins was taken. The reason Elway traded out of the 1st round and drafted Brock in the 2nd was because Brock was Jack Elway's, (son of John) best friend. Brock knew John Elway and family personally for YEARS before he was reached for in the draft. That's a $1.5 mil difference in pay.

#2. Elway invested in his future and mentored Brock and then let him learn from PFM for four years! Thats like receiving the equivalent of a masters degree in football while the college pays you $4.5mil.

#3.Brock never had to compete for his #2 QB position, any other team would have made him compete to survive and he might have ended up on the Raider practice squad. Not BO, he got a 4 year full ride to a Super Bowl ring that he is too big of a CRYBABY to even pick up in person. It's a $40K dollar championship ring with his NAME on it!!!!! What is he going to get it mailed to him UPS Ground delivery where they just throw the box on the walk outside your door?

#4. He doesn't understand why he got benched. I could look at his deteriorating play, lost fumbles, holding onto the ball too long and having several lingering injuries from taking too many hits on the day he was benched. Even that is not why, He needs to understand he got benched because the #1 QB, PFM was out due to injury and a player doesn't lose his position to injury. When PFM was healthy enough to come back, it was his team to lead. Thats how the NFL works, that's why Brock is a Boy.

BO should have stayed true to the team that made him what he is and offered him a competitive contract. 

I'm really glad he left though, I think we are WAY better off with the QB's we have now at the price we are paying for them.

I don't know how we could have payed BO what he wanted and then try to satisfy Von Miller wanting to be the highest payed player in the league this year under our cap anyways......... But that's another RUB for another thread...

I'm with you Strand and O.C. I think we need to take a good look at Miller also. When a team stands with you through injuries and suspensions , you may need to show a little allegiance. Miller is no doubt one of the best, but he said he wanted to give the Broncos a deal and then comes with this BS. I would rather let him set out the season than give into his demands. I say take a look at Wolfe, and how he has acted, as a model of a team player. Von can go dance with the stars .  Highest paid in the league and more guaranteed money ? BS
